Description
The hei matau, or hook, is said to grant strength, good luck and safe travel to its wearer, and signifies connection to the ocean (or water).
The unfurling Koru symbolises growth and regeneration. The Koru also represents balance and harmony and is a symbol of creation.
Twist translates to ‘pikorua‘ in Maori. ‘Pikorua’ refers to the strength of relationships on our pathway through life through friendship, love or blood.
